Log into the KNEC website and download certificate replacement forms. You can also go to the KNEC Archives and Records offices to physically fill this document.
Fill personal data and attach the following supporting documents: Copy of the certificate/ result slip, Letter of completion/ recommendation letter from a school Sworn legal affidavit Police abstract indicating loss of certificate Identity Card (ID)/ passport or birth certificate

2. Pay The Processing Fee
To pay the processing cost, deposit Ksh. 5,000 + 16% VAT (totaling Ksh. 5,800) into the designated KNEC accounts at Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), Equity Bank, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, or National Bank of Kenya.

3. Submit The Application Form

Collection of the Exam Certificate
The owner upon presentation of the original National Identity Card/valid Passport shall collect examination results certification letter in person.
One of the parents/official guardians with their original National Identity Card and the original birth certificate of the minor shall accompany minors.
Examination Results Certification Letters that will have NOT been collected within TWO (2) years from the date of application will be disposed off without further communication and NO refund of the fee paid.
Points To Note
- The examination results Certification Letter once issued is NOT replaceable.
- The processing of Examinations results Certification Letter takes fifteen (15) working days after all the requirements nave been fulfilled.
- For Post School (Business, Technical & Teacher) Examinations, ail the copies of result slips of modules/parts for the modular courses sat MUST be attached.
